Migration Tools – Access to migration conversion tools via the internet. Each tool, example the Microfocus Dialog GUI migration a base fee of $5,000.00 will be assessed for access based on a maximum of 250 programs. Programs in excess of that number will have additional charges applied. Other filters are available upon request. We can also create specialized filters per user’s specs. The user will upload their programs and associated cpy libraries, select which programs to run through the migration tool, then execute. The converted source will be available for download once programs converted. We will work with the user to modify the filter to accommodate any items not properly converted where possible. A sample program can be supplied for initial qualification of the filter process prior to converting the application.

Mass Change - Access to the mass change tools via the internet.  A monthly access fee of $350.00 will be assessed to allow user to use the tool. User will create a change dictionary online containing the data and procedure names that they wish to change and the changed name. The user will upload their programs and associated cpy libraries, select which programs you want to run through the Mass Change tool, then execute. The converted source will be available for download once programs converted. We will work with the user to modify the filter to accommodate any items not properly converted where possible.

Complete Migration – The COBOL Group, Inc. will convert the user’s application. Each application will be assessed and a quote provided to complete the entire migration project.
